2) Step 2 is submitting to the directories. Its the same story again isn't it. Sites claiming to submit manually to 300, 400, or even 3000 directories manually for only $XXX . Yeah right manually , has this been true do you really feel its worth it , logging into each and every directory making an account and posting the site information one after the other, well in other word its called benefit of ignorance or lack of knowledge.
3) Advertising your site or business through simple and inexpensive way to reach the mass. ( MASS MAILING- NOT SPAM )
